Does anyone still play?

I have been playing for a bit, soon after discovering this game existed. I am a long time fan of all things .hack, and was just teamed up with someone named PUNISHER, but that's the only person I have ever met so far.

Sometimes there are ppl, but to catch them you either have to monitor server status, or be ingame all the time.

Game suffers from typical playerbase loss:
1) some ppl just stop playing
2) less ppl - less online
3) other see that less online - stop playing too
And its circles. Better catch ppl on discord and ask them to play directly

I'll be more than happy to play with you in the near future! Currently waiting on a new copy of the game as I've lost my old one... but can't wait to scratch my .hack itch. As much as I love the G.U. series, the original games always hold a special place in my heart.

I just got back from a super long business trip but I still play! Not many people do play it though. Like when a handful stop then it snowballs into more people stopping for a while. But when people start back up it also snowballs back up the player pop

Going through the whole re-install process today but if I'm not at work then I'm up for a few dungeon runs for sure.

Didn't know that. The link I provided is essentially the one with all the mostly active people in it however. I passed it on so the server over can get that fixed though.
