Brand New Player

I just started tonight, and I've been wanting to play Fragment for years but the servers were gone by that point, really glad I can play now, but it feels like this project is dying, just want to see what the status of it all is and how I can go about connecting with more players! ^^ Also some newbie friendly area words would be really appreciated, even Lv.4 areas had harpies that I couldn't damage and did alot to me, so I'm kinda lost...
